We are residents of San Juan County, New Mexico, helping to elect Democrats to local, state and national offices by raising money for yard signs, voter education and more.
Every person matters. Everyone deserves the freedom, opportunity, and promise of a great future.
Freedom • Opportunity • The Future
That’s what Democrats stand for—freedom to live authentically, love whomever we choose, and read the books we want. Freedom to practice any religion, or none at all. We believe in opportunity: access to quality education, good jobs, and the ability to care for our families. And we are committed to ensuring a healthy, sustainable future for our children.

Adopt a Highway, May 8

Ward 5 is sponsoring an Adopt-a-Highway cleanup on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. This community service event is open to all and we urge Democrats from all eight Wards to attend. Let's show our community that we truly care about San Juan County and are working to improve the lives of our fellow citizens. Wear your Democratic t-shirts!
We will gather in the fenced-in parking lot of North Star Water Users Association in Aztec. This parking lot is on the east side of Hwy 550 North just outside of Aztec.

We will be cleaning both sides of Hwy 550, between mile marker 161 and mile marker 162, which is just past the Dollar General. The New Mexico Department of Transportation will supply us with safety vests and trash bags. There will also be warning signs placed at each end of our area.
We suggest that you bring water, some gloves, and, if you have one, bring your "grabber tool" so you don't have to bend over if that's an issue.
If you have any questions, please contact Laurie Johnson 970-946-0048
